Connor Associates Oversees Branding and Naming Project at the French American International School in Portland, Oregon
While many schools enter their summer break, Connor Associates’ President Mike Connor and his branding partners will be kicking off a branding and naming project for the French American International School (FAIS) in Portland, Oregon.
Leading the project is Nancy McDonald, co-founder of Leapfrog Group. Nancy and her team are industry leaders in articulating the brands of non-profits. Their strength-based approach sets their clients apart by communicating who they are clearly and authentically while integrating smart strategy with bold creative.
Connor Associates’ Graphic Designer Adrienne DiGiovine will help FAIS ideate and create a new logo to distinguish and feature the new FAIS brand. Adrienne, a veteran strategic brand design partner with Connor Associates, was recently awarded a second InspirED School Marketers Brilliance Award in 2021 and is renowned for her ability to produce customized designs that are conceptual, meaningful, and authentic.
The French American International School (FAIS) in Portland is the longest-established language immersion in Portland, and the only school in Portland authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) for preschool-8th grade. Situated on a 15-acre, nature-filled campus and home to a globally diverse community from more than 70 countries, this diverse learning environment provides students with the lifelong skills to succeed in a global, interconnected world by harnessing the benefits of the IB, French curriculum, and language immersion (that includes Mandarin, German, and Spanish in Middle School).
FAIS is fully accredited by the French Ministry of Education, the Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS), and is authorized as an IB World School. Founded in 1979, it has grown to become one of the three largest independent schools and most-recognized language immersion school in the Portland, OR area.
