Connor Associates Adds Leadership Search To Roster of Services

Openings for careers in independent schools are expected to rise considerably over the next decade. Reasons for this are many and varied, including retirement, younger administrators making lateral or upward moves to gain greater skillsets, and additional positions added beyond those that currently exist.

Connor Associates President Mike Connor predicts, “We can expect a lot of churn as education is reinvented and independent schools strive to influence the national conversation on school change.”

Flat Fee Search Services

Armed with this knowledge, Mike Connor and Thom Greenlaw, two internationally known private school consultants, are teaming up to deliver a new approach to private school search and placement services.

“Connor Associates Leadership Search,” explains Mike, “bases fees upon services rendered, not the industry standard of a percentage of salary.”

These services are customized to the school’s needs and put control of the fee in the hands of the school. This is a powerful benefit to the school in containing and predicting costs.

As an added feature, Connor Associates offers a discount for multiple searches undertaken by the same school.

Mentoring for New Placements

In addition, the Leadership Search service includes advice and support to their placements to increase their likelihood of success. “We believe new hires deserve an objective and experienced mentor starting the first year a candidate is selected by the school,” says Thom.
