William Bullard - EdChanges
William Bullard is the founder of EdChanges, a marketing services firm that offers independent schools a wide range of strategic marketing services. William moved into education in 2012 after a lengthy career in cutting-edge marketing, in wireless communications and direct marketing. He participated in the early phases of wireless technology, the internet, digital marketing, and lead nurturing/marketing automation.
He enjoys applying lessons from his business career to private education. He’s been the director of marketing and communications at two Boston-area schools and a consultant for many schools, service providers, marketing agencies, and philanthropic advisors. William has delivered marketing strategy and planning, website redesigns and SEO, content marketing, communications audits, digital ads, social media plans, analytics, blogging strategies, admissions and fundraising counsel, market research, and more.
He is also a content marketer who has created articles, webinars, white papers, eBooks, and presentations for organizations such as NAIS, the Enrollment Management Association, Finalsite, and Independent Thinking. His topics include data-driven marketing, marketing strategy, enrollment marketing, the use of video, personalization, communications audits, and how habit affects marketing programs.
William was a four-year VP of Internet Marketing for the American Marketing Association – Boston and is now a board member of a historic house and garden for which he provides marketing and analytics support. He earned his MBA at a top-15 business school, The Anderson School at UCLA, and has a long and deep connection with independent schools, including a 100+ year family history at Berkshire School and the attendance of his children at Gilman and Bryn Mawr Schools in Baltimore. He is married and lives in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
