Erika joined Connor Associates in 2018. With an 18-year career in the nonprofit sector, a graduate degree in public and nonprofit administration, and extensive experience in program management, fundraising, and marketing, she is well poised to help support our clients' growth.
Much of Erika's work has been with organizations focused on student success. She began her career managing an out-of-school-time program, then consulted to early education and out-of-school-time providers on quality improvement. Erika later transitioned to work at philanthropic foundations, where she solicited and stewarded generous donors' gifts, then used those resources to make meaningful investments in K-12 schools, out-of-school-time programming, and college access for students in need.
Erika excels at strategic planning, qualitative and quantitative evaluation, and fundraising and marketing plan development and execution. She has facilitated multiple organizational and program planning processes; conducted statewide and regional community needs assessments; cultivated, solicited, and stewarded six-figure donors; and designed and authored diverse marketing collateral, including digital communications.
Erika holds a Master's in Public Administration and a Certificate of Nonprofit Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's of Arts from Macalester College.
When she isn't adventuring in the mountains or the ocean, Erika lives with her partner in Seattle, Washington.
