The International School of the Peninsula (École Internationale de la Péninsule |半島國際學校) Selects Connor Associates for Strategic Marketing Projects

Connor Associates Strategic Services is pleased to announce a partnership with International School of the Peninsula, an independent school serving students from Nursery through 8th grade in Palo Alto, CA. The project with ISTP aligns with the school’s current strategic plan and will complement the full International Baccalaureate (IB) accreditation planned for 2019.

Head of School Philippe Deitz shared his enthusiasm for the project. “All of us at ISTP are looking forward to working again with Connor Associates. They were an invaluable resource for us in the past and allowed us to better understand our demographics and market. Their analysis of the results helped us to transform and better position our marketing program and materials.”

Project components include an External Image Audit, Alumni Survey, Psychodemographic Enrollment Feasibility Study and Five-Year Forecast, and workshops with the board and faculty to report the results of the research and to strategize roles across functions and departments that will advance the mission of the School.

Founded in 1979 as the Peninsula French-American School, ISTP has 40 years of experience in bilingual and international education.  Student enrollment is currently 550, with plans to evaluate the feasibility of a high school campus in the near future.  The School offers immersion programs in both French and Mandarin Chinese as well as options for a third language. More importantly, students are immersed in a rich multilingual and multicultural environment that allows them to develop the cultural literacy and communication skills they need to thrive in an international setting.

ISTP’s curricula and program make it a top choice for families in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Guided by the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile, social emotional learning is woven into the fabric of the curriculum as well as taught explicitly. The School’s inquiry-based learning is an approach to education in which students are fully engaged by asking questions, reaching for answers, making bigger-picture connections, reflecting on learning, and taking action.

The School hosts over 30 nationalities with a faculty of native-speakers for the target language. Ninety percent of the students are accepted into their first choice of high schools and ISTP graduates attend the top regional high schools, in addition to the best universities in the country and across the globe.
